We reserved this house for dear friends getting away from the city with their small children. They all had a wonderful time, enjoyed the beautiful nature around them, and esp loved the indoor pool and facilities.
We all loved that this house was so family friendly while still being beautiful!

I greatly enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. The area was very spacious and worked perfectly for our group. Having a bathroom on each floor was perfect. Doug was extremely friendly throughout the entire process and responded very quickly. I would stay at this Airbnb again if I plan to travel to Galena!

We had a wonderful stay with family and our dog. Well maintained house and wonderful setting to walk around and enjoy nature including some wild turkeys and other birds. Close enough to downtown Galena with great restaurants and the Chestnut hill resort where we were able to get in a quick day of skiing and snowboarding. Overall, highly recommended for a stay.

The house was very cozy, quiet and close to where we needed to be. Doug is a fantastic host and very responsive to all my questions and was always polite and accommodating. This is a great getaway place for a family with small kids. I would definitely stay there again. The parking area was a little small and distant from the units. If you end up arriving late in the day it is hard to find a space to park. It's basically a first come first serve to a find a decent spot.
